Striving to improve and develop skills is essential for any creative business, perhaps more so for a photographic one. This is why I chose to push myself and my skills to put my work in to be assessed for the Licentiate distinction (LRPS) at the Royal Photographic Society.
After a lot of work, I am pleased to say that I was successful.
The LRPS is a measure of achievement that is recognised world-wide. It gives you the opportunity to showcase your skills as a photographer, demonstrating different techniques and control of the whole process from taking a shot to the finished print, and it shows a photographer’s ability to produce a balanced collection of images that work together to create a strong panel.
It is something that I am very pleased to have obtained, and is a reward that represents the work that I put in to improving my photography.
