PR and social media consultancy Stand Agency asked me to produce PR photographs at an Anchor homes event in Helston. 70 year old Terry Keen had cycled 1400 miles across the country to raise money for charity and to collect signatures on a card for Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday. His last stop was The Clies in Helston, and Stand Agency required photographs for both local and national newspapers, as well as candid shots of Terry and his wife meeting and interacting with Anchor residents and staff. It was a great privilege to be at the event and share this special moment with Terry and his wife. It was an incredible achievement. When I asked him if he was going to have a rest for a while, his eyes seemed to look far away and then he laughed and said he may be canoeing next. What a great character, and so full of energy.
