Esmé Page, Cornwall Hugs Grenfell says: LLE Photography answered our call at short notice to capture the recording of a very special piece of music by Truro Cathedral Choir’s Choristers: Grenfell From Today, a solidarity and remembrance marking the one year anniversary of the Grenfell Tower Fire. Truro Cathedral is a technically challenging environment to work in, with rapid changes of light and shadow, cavernous areas and the public ever present. We very much valued Claire’s expertise in this environment and her calm intuitive approach, which immediately put the children and adults at their ease. The ‘behind the scenes’ shots she created enabled us to really engage our followers with the recording process on social media and the evocative soloist portraits gave us powerful press pictures to portray both the the simplicity and depth of meaning in the song. We’re very grateful to Claire for giving so generously of her skills and for putting so much thought and care into understanding this sensitive brief so well and delivering so many beautiful images to our tight deadlines. The images were carried in both national and local media and contributed significantly to the success of this project.
Sha and Nic say:Claire is as talented at putting pets at ease as she is at taking the perfect photo. We love her portraits of our new kittens.
Liz Mulloy, Development Manager, Truro Cathedral says: Truro Cathedral recently undertook a project to refresh its brand to enable it to better communicate all that it does and offers to the community. We wanted our brand to be able to convey the warmth and accessibility that we offer at the cathedral. We appointed Claire with the task of capturing the different aspects of cathedral life, taken in a relaxed, unobtrusive style. The photographs Claire captured over the 4 months didn’t disappoint. We now have over 1,000 images of outstanding quality in our library. Claire’s ability to capture connections between people in her images is unparalleled – she has a rare talent for it. Being in and around the organisation so frequently during the project, Claire worked with the whole cross section of our team, from office staff, to clergy, to volunteers and the general public. Claire’s professionalism throughout was exemplary, she put her subjects at ease and the whole team thoroughly enjoyed working with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Claire to anyone requiring photography for their organisation – she has the knack to capture the intangible heart and soul of places within her viewfinder.
Gail and Janine about their wedding photography experience say: "Claire was a considerate professional photographer. The images were natural and spontaneous and she was a pleasure to have at our special day x could not have asked for anyone better"
Clare W. says about her event photography experience: “Claire photographed two events for me last year, a party in August celebrating four big birthdays and a Winter Dinner Party in November. We were thrilled with Claire’s photos and have the most incredible albums of both happy events, all thanks to Claire’s natural ability to know exactly when to take “the shot”. I will always use Claire to takes photos at any future events that I organise as she is an exceptional photographer and a lovely person too. “
Hannah Woodhouse about her family photography experience says: "Claire was fantastic and managed to capture some really great images of me and my children. Although professional, she made us feel at ease and let us have fun at the park while she snapped away!"
Rowan Blewett from Rowan Blewett Event Management after her professional PR and Headshot Photographs says: "I can't recommend working with Claire at LLE-Photography enough! As a complete camera-shy photo-phobic person, I am so pleased with the results - Thank you Claire!"
Mike Bearcroft, author, says: "Punctual, smart, quietly professionally, got on with her work. Captured the event perfectly, brilliant photography, wouldn’t use anyone else in future, yet I had never met her before the day."
Ceri Crowther, former Community Fundraiser at Marie Curie says:“Claire’s brief was to come and take photographs of the annual charity swim event from Padstow to Rock. The results were fantastic, her beautiful photographs captured the mood on the day and gave us a real personal insight into some of the 300 participants – the excitement and trepidation before the swim and the triumph when completed, as well as some beautiful shots of the swimmers in/and the water. A hectic day with minimal brief, Claire understood quickly what was needed and produced some really special shots.”
Rosen Trevithick, author, says: “I highly recommend Claire’s photography. We are working together on a recipe book and I want to eat the pages.”
Sue Kittow, author, says: “I worked with Claire on my first book, when we were both new at the publishing game. We had lots of agonising, late nights and early mornings, but the results were worth it! As you will see from Claire’s work now….”
